I remember running into this game on the 3Ds back when they had the whole Nintendo Eshop. I ended up buying this to see if my memory as a kid matches what I would feel about this game today… yep, still funny and still fun. The jokes and references are just rediculous kinda that slapstick humor on American Dad or Family guy. Just so many refrences and silliness while also maintaining a simple yet satisfying gameplay. My only critique is the game is rather short, and while they do have challenges around the world, most of them become repetitive and don’t really add anything of substance unless you’re a completionist. Besides that it’s a cute game with great humor but short. The world does have plenty of Easter eggs and challenges so if that suits your for sure it’s a grab, and if your just looking for a short great time, also a solid grab.

I love this game it’s probably my favorite mobile game I recommend this. I am wondering can you please please please make a release date for shakedown Hawaii mobile and Xbox because I don’t have the platforms to play it on but these :( so I would really love for shakedown Hawaii to come to Xbox and mobile thank you. Btw this game is awesome

If you are reading this review, the. Just buy the game. This game is a complete game and is super fun to play. I have been playing with a controller and it is awesome. The story is well through out and super funny. The retro style and modern game mechanics are awesome. Just buy the game and use a controller.

Absolutely love this game!! The 80s references are awesome and it plays very well! I highly recommend this to someone looking for an action packed retro adventure!

the game is beautiful but you need to add the cloud save

Got to 80% of game, had to reset my device. Found out there are no iCloud saves. Had to restart the game. Luckily, the game is lots of fun, so I don’t mind. Wish I could zoom out even further. Playing on the touchscreen on the iPad Pro 12.9” gives a dizzying effect due to fast place scrolling gameplay. Minor complaints aside, its a five star game. Music is amazing...will buy sound track.

Hey this is too hard can you guys make a easy mode and if you say I hate this game well the game good except for the bosses.

I’ve always loved this game. From its retro style to the homages to games and cinema, but this game is in desperate need of an update. Really hope this game gets some love for the new iPhones to make use of their speed and their larger screens.

This game won’t even run when I try to play it it just boots me out of the game so I can not play and when I try to reinstall it it doesn’t even work then I tried to get a refund but it said I can not get a refund so I wouldn’t recommend this game at all

Ignore the haters saying about the controls are terrible, just use a controller or resize the touch controls, so begone you ugly haters and don't come back. This game is what if GTA was made in 1985 with a bunch of references to Pop culture in the 90’s. Played this before on PSN and PC.Recommended for $5 and people who like a Retro feeling. P.S. Thank you Vblank for releasing this game on mobile devices and when Shakedown Hawaii is released can you do the same thing and port this to Mobile devices plz ?

I love this game but it would be even cooler if It had multiplayer so that way you and your friends can cause distraction together

This game is so fun, there is a lot of variety in missions and so much you can do in this game haven't ever got bored with it. Great game devs ! Hope you keep makeing good games like this.

I've been a long time owner of RCR on PC and I wanted to support the create here on iOS as well, but the controls for this iOS port is terrible. Having a virtual joystick was a bad move on the developers part. I just hope they patch it with an option to have fixed controls, like a d-pad. The vehicle controls are fine, as you can switch it to manual ( which gives you fixed buttons to pressed for steering and accelerating), I just wished they had done the same for regular movement. Movement and precision are two very important aspect of these kinds of games, in my opinion, and a virtual joystick hampers it greatly. An option to have it fixed to the screen would've been preferred at the least... Until the controls are updated I would suggest you hold back on this purchase. If not prepare for some frustrating moments...

Great throwback to many older games of the 90's. Enjoyed it during several long airplane flights and certainly worth the couple dollars to download it.

Amazing game but add online multiplayer for console and mobile devices and also add first person for mobile to get a better view and add lowriders

The game plays very smoothly and has awesome pixel graphics. It has just the right blend of comedy and action. The only problem is that when you equip a gun it should tell you the name of the gun.

This game will take over the appstore if they had multiplayer

I love this game! Everything in it is so fluent and perfect, but I can only get the all weapons cheat to work. I really need to know how to access stuff like gawd mode and all characters. Other than that multiplayer. Great game!

Initially wrote game was frustrating but playable due to iPhone controls, changed my mind. It's totally unplayable. The number of times you will think you hot a jump button, only to not hit it at all or hit the fire button, is insane. Virtual joystick? Terrible. Reads terribly. Do not buy this game for iPhone. Get it for any other platform. Not worth it on here.

In my last review I said it needed a smaller display, but I found that in the options menu. Making this app my #1 app. I've been waiting for a game like this like my whole life. Now all it needs is multiplayer. And what do you guys mean by "new swimming controls?"

I love this game so much but the car controls terrible I hate driving in this game and I can't get off of a level because I have to drive a car so for this I give this game a 4 star. Please update car controls, please

Extremely annoying strobe effects on the score board and the direction arrows, please remove all strobe effects they make the game ugly and annoying I can't even play it till they are removed!

I use my devices more for productivity than gaming, but I like to have a few choice selections available to kill time when necessary. This game is amazing, it truly recreates the vibe of when I was 12 playing those great old NES games! If you ever had a NES or Sega just buy this and thank me later. Another plus is that it's a small game, doesn't eat up your storage!

I have been on the fence for this game forever. I was originally turned off by the art style, but finally took the plunge and am glad I did. There's quite a bit to do in the game (missions, part time work, challenges, screw around) it's pretty much "retro GTA" in your pocket and I'm having a blast with it. Sure, the graphics are supposed to be "retro" and I got used it it. The controls (like almost all touch screen games) and aiming are a little iffy but definitely not game breaking. Love the parody/references. If I had one (and only one request) would be to please allow cloud saves. My phone is my primary source for the game and would love to play it on iPad without losing my progress. Other than that, it's pretty great.

I had this game previously on PSN (playstation network) snd honestly i got re al bored real fast, possibly because it felt detached and far away, like something was missing. Maybe all those years 2 feet from the nintendo conditioned me to want to feel the warm glow of pixelated games, whatever the reason it feels mo re at home on the ios that it did on psn, and the zoom feature really helps wether on iPhone or iPad, (air 2 so i zoom all the way out) deff worth the five if your into the generation of pixel gods.

Good, good, good stuff! This is retro pixel gaming awesomeness. It's like having an 80's Grand Theft Auto. Shoot outs, robberies, car chases, and all that bad guy stuff. The presentation is very good. Graphics, sound, and control are excellent. Well worth the money. Good work Vblank Entertaianment!

The reviews were good so I got it but I disliked it its very clunky feels like a $2 game not a $5 game... Plus the art style makes it really hard to distinguish things sometimes idk I didn't like this game at all
